    Events/Projects
    Loose Ends Pakistan is carrying out two projects to raise awareness among our public about basics of civil behavior. Both projects will be carried out simultaneously; one will focus on hygiene and cleanliness and how important it is not to litter our own streets, the other will highlight the violations of traffic rules and regulations and will try to correct the same. The details of the projects are given below.
    Project Launch:
    The projects will be launched at 7:30 pm, Friday 23rd March 2007, at Khadda Market Defence Stadium DHA-V, Karachi.

    The awareness campaigns are being carried out in collaboration with D.H.A., D.S.R.A. and C.B.C.

    Project Details:
    1. Pappu Yar Gund Na Ker
    Loose Ends Pakistan is planning to carry out a cleaning and awareness campaign in the city of Karachi in the name of "Pappu Yar Gund Na Ker" with the purpose of creating awareness among people about cleanliness and hygiene of their community. This activity will take place once a week for two hours duration, in Khadda Market, Defence Stadium, DHA-V, Karachi. Student volunteers will help carry out the project. Banners carrying public service messages will be displayed in the area for the duration of the project only.
    2. Wah Re Pappu, Jab Namaz sahi parhtay hain tau garhi ghalat kiyon chalatay hain
    Loose Ends Pakistan is planning to carry out a traffic awareness campaign in the city of Karachi to raise awareness among people about the importance of obeying traffic rules and regulations, and highlight the inconvenience caused by violations of the same. This activity will take place once a week for two hours duration, in Khadda Market, Defence Stadium, DHA-V, Karachi. Student volunteers will help carry out the project. Banners carrying public service messages will be displayed in the area for the duration of the project only.
    Volunteer Program:
    Loose Ends Pakistan is looking to recruit volunteers from schools in order to educate these young minds about social responsibility and awareness. Loose Ends Pakistan will guide and train these students to become responsible adults and model citizens by being part of different community service programs and engaging in healthy activities that bring a positive influence on their environments. Participating students will be given Volunteer ID Cards, free T-shirts, hand gloves and garbage bags. Volunteers will be supervised at all times and necessary security and safety precautions will be taken for their safeguard. On completion of 12 weeks of volunteer service, they will be awarded certificates for participation in community service programs.
